For the past 15 years I've worked in the Graphic Design Industry in Houston, Texas. I've applied my graphic design background with my creativity and created a sterling silver, fine silver, copper & brass artisan jewelry collection.  I've always worn and loved sterling silver jewelry.  A favorite memory is going to Fortunoff (I grew up on the lower east side of New York) with my Mom to drool over the silver jewelry. She bought me quite a few pieces to celebrate special times in our lives. I like to be aware of current trends but I usually don't let them influence my work. I enjoy wearing & designing sterling silver jewelry that allows you to stand out from the crowd, that you won't find in stores and you will not see on anyone else.

I got into making jewelry around 2005 when my daughter (15 at the time) asked me to take a beading class with her at Z Beads in Rice Village (closed a few years ago).  Our first class was throwing a bunch of beads, sterling silver ball spacers into a paper bag.  Reach in and start stringing whatever you pulled out. My daughters' necklace came out really cool, mine was a different story. She moved on to other interests but I was hooked. I am a member of Houston Gem & Mineral Society, Art League Houston, Contemporary Craft Museum and currently enrolled at The Glassell School in Houston. I'm Level 1 Certified in working with PMC.
